The Four Gods are the central figures of an ancient Chinese system of astrology and geomancy which was imported to Korea and Japan and absorbed into Onmyōdō mysticism, among other beliefs. In this system, there are 28 star houses (that is to say, constellations) which run the circumference of the sky.
The Satyr is the first Boss you encounter in Praey for the gods. It is also the third boss presented in the gameplay trailer.

Appearance[editedit source]
The Satyr is a humanoid beast with a human-like skull upon it's head. It's right hand has been replaced with a stone club. There is also a gaping hole in it's midriff.
Like most Gods in the game, it has various rock-like formations erupting from it's body and is covered in ropes and bindings, that are sometimes connected to the Sigils.
The Satyr has three Sigils that you must each ring three times in order to defeat it.
Attacks[editedit source]
The Satyr has a few of relatively slow attacks that it can perform from time to time.
Ice Breath[editedit source]
It will stomp before leaning forwards and exhaling icy breath that is long range and can greatly decrease the player's temperature. It generally performs this attack if the player is far away.
Stomp[editedit source]
It will stomp on the ground and deal damage in an area of effect around the point of impact, meaning you will get hit even if you aren't directly beneath it. It will generally perform this attack if the player is close to it's hooves.

It will swing it's club. It will generally perform this attack if you are close and in front of it.

Trivia[editedit source]
- The Satyr is the least aggressive, which makes sense since it's the first Boss.
Over the weekend I've played a great game: Praey for the Gods. It had to change its name from 'Prey.' Because Zenimax in a long and costly R&D process forged the great innovative word 'Prey' for their own exclusive use. It's been made by only 3 people it a little more than 3 years. It's really awesome what they've achieved.
The game features some basic survival longplay in a harsh snowy completely open environment. The story is cryptic yet conclusive. There's a lot to explore and puzzles to solve.
But the main selling point are the boss fights. Huge bosses of which each requires a specific strategy to beat them, probably best comparable with Shadow of the Colossus. The dev are very accessible friendly guys available on Discord almost always and streaming on Twitch regularly. They've said it's best for them to buy the game on Humble Bundle (95/5 split compared to Steam 70/30):Want to see the bosses? @DahliaGray has recorded them.
