Halo 3 Endwith special ending (SPOILERS)

The Warthog landed inthe bay of Forward Unto Dawn and flipped end over end. Thefrigate started taking off. The Arbiter and the Master Chiefrecovered and moved quickly. Then, a Scorpion Tank starts slidingtowards the Arbiter. He dodges. He and the Master Chief exchangednods and The Arbiter ran towards the control room. The chief slottedCortana into a terminal. She appeared and said, 'Hang on!'

The epic legendary ending of halo 3 and the end of the awesome trilogy, now we'll just see what happens in Halo 4. The Halo 2 ending on legendary is the same as on normal. I do not own the Xbox but I played in Halo in pals house. But, off-topic, ending in Halo 2 was nice but not superb waiting for Halo 3;).

The Arbiter strappedhimself into the seat. Meanwhile, in the bay, they had cleared theArk. The Master Chief starts sliding. He grabs the terminal and hisbody is now floating 90 degrees in the air. Then, Johnson'sWarthog, the last remnant of his identity, slammed into the terminaland knocked the Chief off. He dug his hands into the deck andnarrowly avoids getting lost in space. Cortana yelled, 'Chief!'The chief lowered his head as the Scorpion Tank nearly slams intohim. He climbs back up to the terminal and leaned against it.

Cortana said, 'If wedon't make it-'

'We'll make it.'

'It's been anhonor serving with you, John.' She said just as a bright whitelight consumed them.

The front half of halfof Forward Unto Dawn crashed into the sea. The Arbiteremerged from the wreckage and swam back to the shore. All theMarines stared at him. He looked around and snapped his jaws.

'For us, the Stormhas passed,' Lord Hood says, The war is over. But let us neverforget, those who journeyed into the howling dark, and did notreturn. Their decision requires courage beyond measure. And Ideclare, that this hillside remains barren, in honor of those whosacrificed themselves for humanity.' he says as he lowers cap onhis chest in respect. A sergeant yelled, 'Present arms!' Theline of Marines put their guns in firing readiness and fired. Thesound echoed through the valley. The Arbiter walked up to Lord Hood. Hood said, 'I remember when this war started, what your kind didto us,' He says as he looks at the memorial covered with pictures,'I can't forgive you.' He turns to the Arbiter, 'But, youhave my thanks. For standing by me until the very end,' He says ashe shakes the Arbiter's 'hard to believe he's gone…'TheArbiter turned away and walked to his ship. The Shipmaster waslooking at an Earth hologram.

'Things seemdifferent now, without the Prophet's lies clouding my ears. I wantto go to our home planet…just to make sure that it is still safe.'The Shipmaster says. The Arbiter placed a hand on his shoulders.

Xonotic 2019. 'Fear not. For wehave the means.' He says. The Shipmaster placed a hand on hischest.

'By your word,Arbiter.' He said as the ship disappeared. There was a carving onthe memorial. It read:

'Chief? Can youhear me?' The Chief woke up. He was floating in zero-gee.

'Thank god, Ithought I had lost you too.' She whispered. The chief floated upto where the ship tore into two.

'What happened?'

'I don't know…whenHalo fired it shook itself to pieces. The Portal couldn't sustainitself. We made it through just as it collapsed.' The Chief sawthat they were floating in some kind of a blue tube. 'Well, some ofus did.' Cortana added. The Chief floated to where the cryopodswere kept. Cortana said, 'I've dropped a beacon, but it will bea while before anyone finds us.' She said as the Chief settledhimself in a cryopod. The lid started descending over him. 'Yearseven.' She added. 'I'll miss you.'

Just before he went tocryosleep, John said, 'Wake me, when you need me.' Then, he wentto sleep.

I will expand on the above answer:

The master Chief and the Arbiter have activated the new Halo

ring and race to the frigate 'Forward Unto Dawn' in a UNSC Warthog.

They make it just in time and the Chief narrowly escapes being

sucked into the gravity of the collapse of the premature firing of

the replacement for installation 04 as the Arbiter takes command at

the bridge (I assume Cortana has full control). Cortana says to the

Chief 'It's been a pleasure serving with you, John.'

We next see the Dawn crash land in a body of water and the

Arbiter emerging with shocked looks from some human rescuers. Lord

Hood and the remaining survivors back on earth are holding a

remembrance service and Lord Hood says to the Arbiter, 'I remember

The credits roll and after they end we see the Master Chief

still floating in a non gravity atmosphere within the Dawn. Cortana

explains that when the ring was activated prematurely it 'Did a

number on the Ark.' This caused the portal to become unstable and

only the front most part of the frigate made it through leaving the

Master Chief and Cortana floating in space in the remains. Cortana

lays an emergency beacon and comments that it will be months before

they are found, years even. The master Chief enters a cryo tube and

prepares to activate it. Cortana states, 'I'll miss you.' The

Master Chief replies with, 'Wake me, when you need me.'

However in the Halo 4 Master Chief was probably dead because

they show inside of him. Cortana yells at Chief to wake up. When he

woke up, Chief suddenly burst out and that the ship he was on was

blowing up. He got Cortana and use his jet pack (We didn't know

that he had a jet pack all the time and didn't use it). When he got

out he and Cortana are heading to an unknown world. The place that

threatened the universe. So it isn't the end of Halo. Halo 4 comes

out this 2012. 343 Industries takes over for Bungie
